abstract

introduction: implantation of transferred embryos in the uterus after ivf_icsi cyclesis an important process that less information about it is available. zona hatching method is a suggested approach for this goal. the aim of this research is about performance of zona hatching by laser. methods: in this study 32 patients that enrolled had ivf/icsi cycles depend on inclusion criteria of study that they included patients who were more than 35 years old, at least one previous failure of ivf, thickness or hardness of zona pelucida, the laser hatching performed on them. then the pregnancy test (ß-subunit) was done and patients with a positive result are followed with vaginal ultra sonography. results: our successful results belonged to the patients who had more than 35 years old. so 50% of pregnancy was positive and then 20% about the zona pelucida thickness and minimum results were about the previous failure of ivf/icsi cycles. conclusion: laser hatching on the embryos of women more than 35 years old with ivf/icsi cycle will optimize pregnancy outcomes

Clinical Pregnancy After Assisted Hatching Rate in Young women undergoing Intra Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection

Problem statement: The ability of a blast cyst to hatch, or escape, from the Zona Pellucida (ZP) that surrounds and protects the embryo during its first few days of development is one of many critical events that must occur for successful reproduction. Implantation of the embryo in the uterine lining is impossible unless hatching occurs. Hard or thick ZP will therefore impaire the implantation ...

effect of weight status on pregnancy outcome in intra cytoplasmic sperm injection

background: there has been an increase in number of obese infertile females booked for advanced infertility treatment procedures like in vitro fertilization (ivf) and intra cytoplasmic sperm injection (icsi). the knowledge of impact of body mass index (bmi) on reproductive outcome can help to counsel these patients. objective: to compare reproductive outcome in females of different bmi after ic...

The Outcomes of Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection and Laser Assisted Hatching in Women Undergoing In Vitro Fertilization Are Affected by The Cause of Infertility

Background We sought to determine the association between factors that affected clinical pregnancy and live birth rates in patients who underwent in vitro fertilization (IVF) and received intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) and/or laser assisted hatching (LAH), or neither. MaterialsAndMethods In this retrospective cohort study, the records of women who underwent IVF with or without ICSI and...

P-56: Artificial Oocyte Activation Alone Intra Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection in Men with Severe Semen Parameters

Background Failed fertilization occurs 1-3% in the infertile couples. Failure of oocyte activation (OA) is mainly attributed to failed fertilization. ICSI alone artificial oocyte activation (AOA) is only treatment approach for these individuals. Three procedures are introduced for AOA: chemical, mechanical and electrical. Most of the clinical Centers have commonly used ionomycin for activation ...
